Company Overview Ambrosia Events was started in 2013 to provide corporate and special events with planning, coordination, and decor. We are recognized as an award-winning leader for our expertise in the areas of planning and decorations throughout the state of Wisconsin. Today, we are growing, and the reason why we created this role. We are seeking to hire two individuals who will support the company's vision. We are in the service industry so service must be at the core of everything we do. Also, serving must be a passion for all who work with us as we strive to exceed our client's expectations for extraordinary events. Position Overview The Events and Inventory Lead offers a flexible work schedule. This role requires individuals with a leadership mindset, strong computer skills, excellent schedule coordination, strategic planning, and communication skills. Work Schedule - Flexible based on our booked events calendar. Job Description Coordinate inventory required for each event - Notify the Owner if inventory needs to be replaced before each event. Create a delivery, installation, and takedown schedule for each event and communicate the schedule to the event staff. - Inform Owner & CEO if you are short event staff in advance. - Advanced planning and scheduling of event crew is a key performance metric for this position. Communicate with Event Coordinators as needed so they can inform clients about their events. Use company software to determine when each event will be conducted along with the items needed to fulfill the contract. Leadership mindset Ability to problem solve issues related to inventory and logistics. Ability to make decisions while working in a fast-paced environment. Think outside the box to exceed client expectations. Ability to work with a team. Likes to have fun. Miscellaneous duties as required. Job Requirements Advanced skills set for Microsoft Office Ability to schedule and execute each event successfully Work with minimum supervision. Drive the company van or truck based on the needs for each event. Must be able to lift 50 pounds consistently. Reliable transportation Valid Wisconsin Class C driver's license High School Diploma or equivalent degree Some college is preferred but not required Preferred: Bi-lingual Spanish and English
